  • Indented Listings and How to Get Them

Google won’t normally list your website twice… in fact, Google normally shows only one page from every site in the top results. However, it is possible to get two listings if you game it just right.

Showing up twice in the SERPs can give you website added punch. Having an indented listing in Google’s search results could mean two listings for your website in the top 10 results in Google instead of one. These double listings are described by Google:

Google finds multiple results from the same website, the most relevant result is listed first, with other relevant pages from that site indented below it.

Your website can garner more clicks and more visitors if it is listed twice in the top 10 results. You can get a leg up on your competition by following a few simple guidelines

Start with a webpage that already has a top 10 ranking for that keyword.

Create a second webpage on the same domain that links the one with the top 10 ranking.

SEO the second page for the same keywords as page one, but use different content

Link from the first page to the second page with your keyword phrase in the anchor text.

Get a few high quality inbound links for the second page.

These steps are often enough to push Google into giving you an indented result under your original top 10 result!
